Bagel Mainea in Augusta

What a fun place! Lots of interesting bagel flavors and cream cheese options. Their jalapeño bagels and cheese are reasonably spicy but not overpowering. Good COVID adaptation - they give you a placard to put on your car and you wait in the lot for your order.

The food is really, really good. But the service is crazy slow, so make sure you call in ahead of time. We walked in and ordered two breakfast sandwiches. Took 30 minutes because they prioritized the call in orders. Logistically, they should have one or two people dedicated to the in store traffic.

It was fabulous. Friendly people, great food, and very clean environment.

Will never ever return. Overpriced garbage. Even the Caesar dressing had turned.

Waited 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches.. since they bring it to your vehicle, I finally asked someone if they had forgotten my order since I saw many people come and go, as I waited there. The woman said it was just sitting on the counter. Not good business, and not worth a 45 minute wait for a normal bagel place in Augusta. If you go- you’ll be waiting awhile!

Absolutely love it here. I've never had anything but friendly service and delicious food when I've visited. This place is popular so a wait for your food should be expected. Vegetarians keep in mind that you can always get anything on the menu without meat which vastly expands your options of delicious meals. If I'm hungry and I'm in Augusta then I'm almost definitely stopping at bagel mania.

My favorite sandwich shop, by far! Get the Kevin’s Delight on sourdough. ;)

They had hot tea & I needed on right then.ha ha the bagel was good too.thank you guys.we will be back again too.

Pretty good place for bagels but they mix their lox into the cream cheese, which I'd thought was forbidden in the bagel world. Otherwise, a solid choice!

Love the bagels, the homemade spreads, the breakfast sandwiches, the deli sandwiches, and the other baked goods. Fair prices.

While the food is really good, the service and wait times are atrocious. 45 minutes for two bagels, which were still made wrong, is unacceptably long.

It was nice to have a wrap that had horseradish with some zip to it. They have an extensive menu on the wall that is perhaps too crowded with options. The decor could use a facelift. Good breakfast and lunch option .

This place knows how to make a bagel! Sandwiches are fantastic with an amazing selection. Most importantly to me is the fact that they understand the importance that salt is a must have on an everything bagel. Yum!

Probably some of the best bagels in Central Maine. I went with friends once and there was a trio of older men playing some songs in the corner of the sunroom on a double-base, bongos, flute, and one of those little wooden frogs that you scratch and hit. It was very relaxing and we were surrounded by artwork from local education centers that were for sale to customers! I have to keep myself from stopping there every time I pass! Their blueberry bagels with honey-butter are to die for! If you're looking for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in the Augusta area then this is definitely the place to stop <3

You wanna talk quality and they dont skimp on cream chese! There's no reason to have competition in this town when it doesn't get any better than this better bagel shop!... never thought bagels or one of my reviews would bring tears to my eyes. Thank you for making me see that I still have feelings!

Best bagels in the area!

What a tasty bagel shop, makes me want to move to Augusta!! Lots of options and plenty of seating - inside and out! I would recommend calling in advance if you have more than 3 or 4 people or in any rush as their ordering method is old school and takes some time.
